Nosecone
[edit]I realise it's hard to source, but was this the first F1 car with an upward-sloping nosecone? My recollection is that Benetton cars pioneered the idea. Contemporary cars resembled e.g. the McLaren MP4/9, with the nose sloping down - but from 1994 everybody switched to the new nose design, and it's still standard today. - You learn something every day. There's no connection between the two design teams so presumably Benetton knew a good idea when they saw it, and were quick off the mark. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 19:14, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
