2025 redrafting

[edit]

I redrafted this today and cut the season by season stuff as it was way too long and none of it had any references. I replaced it with a more summaized history section that kept a few of the pictures that were previously added. I added a few sources to the article but it needs a few more, ideally additional sources from more reputable non-team/non-AFI sources. I removed the tags about conflict of interest but kept the "needs additional citations for verification" until more can be identified.

I'll paste the large season-by-season section that I cut in the extended content below, with the hopes that at some point I (or someone else, be my guest) will hope to convert this into a more simple season-by-season infobox with references, similar to the one I did on Louth Mavericks.

Thanks for your note. And efforts. This title's content is now markedly improved (relative to the NOTPROMO/NOTWEBHOST issues which were evident previously). However, a number of issues remain. Some of them tagged. Including:

  • "The club [..finished..] their inaugural season with a balanced record". What's a "balanced record"? And what source supports this statement?
  • "After a few challenging seasons between 2009 and 2010, the team underwent a transformation in 2011". What was "challenging" about the 2009 and 2010 seasons? And what supports this text?
  • "the team underwent a transformation in 2011 through increased recruitment and development [..] This laid the groundwork for a period of dominance". Says who? Is there a source which directly links the 2011 "recruitment and development" to later wins?
  • "The club has since remained competitive in the AFI Premier Division, consistently reaching the playoffs". Is "consistently reaching the playoffs" a measure of "competitiveness"? What supports this quasi-editorial statement?
