[edit]The ceremony is called Bala(child) Sare(giving). It is not barasala. there is no word in telugu or sanskrit with that meaning. I think that is just a generalised modification of that term and became popular over a period. entymologically there is no meaning for bara sala. it is bala sare. it is similar to pelli sare which is a term given to a ceremony when people give to a bride. 194.176.105.132 (talk) 09:04, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
