What is the highest that a rubber latex balloon could climb before it should burst? Do they reach a point where they stop climbing and simply move along with the air currents and fall when they finally leak enough to lose altitude? GBC (talk) 07:49, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Biodegradable

Can't they just make balloons that biodegrade in a matter of days instead of months? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.224.73.80 (talk) 02:08, 30 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

That would affect their commercial availability; but in any case biodegradable balloon release litter takes just minutes to painfully strangle or choke a creature. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:24, 19 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
