Strange article

[edit]

I tried tidy up the article, but there's still a lot to be done/clarified. Images: why all these Amman-related images? References: I see no references in the article, and yet the text as I found it referenced to Balila as alternatively a "small Village" and "city"! The geolocation info sets the (town) _inside_ of the city of Irbid. And the article contains at least two other stub articles: dabke and dalila (dish). So right now I'm puzzled. Anyone with any knowledge is more than welcome to help with this. :-)--Paracel63 (talk) 12:38, 24 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notability tag

[edit]

I added a notablity tag and think that it is very questionable. The school's page that it mentions doesn't even link to Balila. Coralshin (talk) 07:52, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

I agree. It doesn't seem there are such a village or town. --IRISZOOM (talk) 02:37, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Two days ago, I looked into it more and such a village is mentioned but it seems to be in the Jerash Governorate, not Irbid, but they are close to each other. See for example http://www.iucn.org/news_homepage/news_by_date/?14379/Arbor-Day-Celebrations-in-Balila-Jordan, http://ptrc.gov.jo/Portals/0/amendment3.PDF, http://ptrc.gov.jo/Portals/0/amendment3.PDF and http://jordantimes.com/article/51592.html. There are probably much more info in Arabic. --IRISZOOM (talk) 01:29, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
