DO NOT LISTEN TO WIKIPEDIA
[edit]You should add all pictures and diagrams especially in anything which could be geometric in nature. Do not remove them or be afraid to post them. Do not make a bad product to meet style guidelines. Wikipedia has a monopoly of a sort so I do not feel you impose. They own the search so what else can you do. You should add extra technical details. Wikipedia is not as good overall as pages like https://bendwavy.org/klitzing/explain/dynkin.htm but instead is simply larger. 2600:6C88:E500:D:59BA:19A0:D8CC:8A23 (talk) 01:31, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
- Klitzing's œuvre (which I happen to host) is not as well illustrated as Wikipedia, or has that changed recently? —Tamfang (talk) 06:14, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
graphs
[edit]I think we have too many graphs. do we really need hundreds of rows? I don't think it's productive. thoughts anyone? Ravithewikieditor (talk) 17:43, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- I always wonder what I'm supposed to understand from such diagrams. —Antonissimo (talk) 04:51, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
256 or 255?
[edit]- In 8-dimensional geometry, there are 256 uniform polytopes with B8 symmetry.
I see that #256 is the hemicube, which has only half symmetry. —Antonissimo (talk) 03:20, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
