David Page quote

[edit]

"water at the depth of 1000 feet is compressed 1⁄340th of its own bulk"

Does this mean Page believed the density of water increased by a factor of 340?

If so, the article should point out how wrong he was. At a depth of one mile, "water only compresses less than one percent."[1] 2601:281:D880:7880:147D:6835:95A1:2DFD (talk) 23:19, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Keble Ball reference?

[edit]

The page states that "Since being discredited, the theory has been referenced widely in popular culture, such as Keble Ball 2017[...]." Does this refer to an event or an improperly formatted reference? More context would be useful if the former, or a citation if the latter. 206.87.222.0 (talk) 19:46, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
