Please Clarify "DP"
[edit]The acronym, rather I assume it is an acronym - "DP" occurs twice within this article but with no reference to it's meaning.
"...DP-vessels and take-home propulsion..."
"Underwater-mountable thrusters are used as DP-propulsion..."
To what does the term "DP" refer? Ducted Propeller? Direct Propulsion? Dom Perignon?
Please clarify this term as it is a mystery to us outside the marine propulsion industry.

- Azimuth thruster is a propulsion unit in which the propeller may be turned about its vertical axis. Azipod is ABB's brand of electric podded azimuth thrusters. It's the same as asking the difference between a mobile phone and an iPhone. Tupsumato (talk) 13:44, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
