Talk:Australian general purpose frigate program

Article title

I've just moved this article back to Australian general purpose frigate program after several moves. This title reflects the current status of this project, which is a defence acquisition program with no ships being selected. It is in line with the naming conventions used in similar articles - when a ship type is selected and a name selected, the article should be moved to ...-class frigate or whatever the common name is. The sources generally do not capitalise General Purpose Frigate either. As such, I think that this is in line with WP:COMMONNAME. Could any further proposals to move the article please be discussed here and/or advertised via the WP:RM process? The repeated moves left a mess of muliple redirects which the movers weren't tidying up. Nick-D (talk) 23:03, 6 July 2024 (UTC)

Are there really three batch?

As a Japanese WordPress Wikipedia--Tya syu (talk) 15:09, 14 April 2026 (UTC) editor, I have a question.
I can't find any reports stating that “the construction process is divided into three stages.”

Are there any sources indicating that the design of this class is divided into three phases?
I suspect this might be a misunderstanding stemming from the phrase “the first batch of three frigates.” Tya syu (talk) 10:50, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

I'm also unaware of any source that say that there will be separate batches, with multiple sources noting that a key principle for this project is to minimise changes from the baseline design. As there are no sources to support the claim, I've removed it. Nick-D (talk) 00:15, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
