Wrong figure for solar irradiance?

[edit]

Hi there, I believe this article is flawed, as the solar irradiance outside the atmosphere is much higher, 1361W/m^2, known as the solar constant (NOT just 340 W/m^2 as stated in this article), whis is correctly stated in the Wikipedia article on solar irradiance that this article links to. I cannot correct it since I am missing the figures for below the atmosphere (certainly more than 200W/m^2). Can someone more literate in atmospheric science than me please correct this (provided my perception is correct). Thank you! 2003:E3:EF41:9200:F5AA:1913:3C18:E288 (talk) 15:29, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
