Art.sy → ArtsyArtsy – Artsy has changed it's name by dropping the "." and moving to just Artsy. No, artsy is not an article. It's a redirect, and redirecting it to Art is fairly speculative, especially when the term doesn't appear on that article at all. This is a good case for overwriting that redirect. --BDD (talk) 18:15, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

wikt:artsy, WP:ADJECTIVE -- adjective forms redirect to the noun form. It doesn't matter if "artsy" appears at "art" or not, it is an adjective form for "art". Making every single variant on "art" appear at the art page would contravene WP:NOTDIC. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 21:08, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

I want to update this article, because it no longer contains accurate information about Artsy. I have a few updates I'd like to suggest in each section.

Current Introduction

Artsy, formally known as Art.sy Inc is a New York City based online art brokerage. Its main business is developing and hosting website for numerous galleries as well as selling art for them. It utilizes a search engine and database to draw connections and map relationships among works of art.

The brokerage was founded by Carter Cleveland, a Princeton University computer science graduate. It is currently led by Jeffrey Yin, who was appointed CEO in June 2024.
