[edit]bad idea to merge "art fair" with "art festival" the two are not remotely connected...the only connection with an art fair(commercial expo) with art festival is the word art.
Since i was the one that launched the first "dealer fair" (Wash Art-Washington International Art Fair 1976) i can speak with some authority.

- It has been over 10 years since this comment was made and I strongly second it. An art fair such as NADA New York or Art Basel in Basel or the The Washington International Art Fair is a distinct type of cultural event and not currently covered under the Art exhibition or Arts festival articles. - Wil540 art (talk) 01:50, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
