Is the population French-speaking or German/Luxemburgish today? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.92.66.232 (talk) 15:05, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I believe majority french speaking today, but there definitelly are a large number of Luxembourgish speaking inhabitants (both local born and migrants from Luxembourg).--Caranorn (talk) 15:44, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Being from Arlon I can say there is very few Luxemburgish (in fact, "Plat-deutsch") speakers apart from people over 60-70 years old. The immense majority speaks French, the youngest don't know any word in German. 81.245.168.117 (talk) 23:17, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Either they speak French or Luxembourgish. Platt-Deutsch is a too broad definition. LS (talk) 01:27, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
