The claimed quote that previously ended the article appears to be fictional, and I have removed it. The earlier quote, "Hitler wouldn't shake my hand either", also appears to be false. I believe that quote is a wikipedia 'echo' - the article cited came out long after the quote appeared here in the wikipedia article, at which time no source was provided. There is a pdf online that appears legitimate, which is an interview with Williams performed by the 'LA84 foundation' - an org apparently formed after the 1984 Los Angeles olympics to record an oral history of the olympics. I haven't read the full interview yet, but searching finds neither exact quote within its body, and provides context for the 'wouldn't shake my hand' claim.
