I've put up a merge notice; but in fact the whole business of presenting the material relating to the bishops of Tuam, Catholic and Anglican, needs to be reconsidered. At present it is all confused and duplicated, over various pages like archbishop of Tuam, archbishops of Tuam, archdiocese of Tuam. Charles Matthews (talk) 19:03, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

So yet another is Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tuam. I suggest developing that, since it is the most accurate title, and, per the Catholic Hierarchy site, there is no break in the Catholic history. Church of Ireland Archdiocese of Tuam would be the other natural title. I've redirected that to Church of Ireland Diocese of Tuam, Killala and Achonry, which is accurate about the current successor diocese. Charles Matthews (talk) 19:08, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I have tried to clarify the situation some more, with hatnotes between articles, etc. Strawless (talk) 22:06, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
