Wording (like an ad)

[edit]

"It was there that she learned how to make pretzels the old-fashioned, Pennsylvania Dutch way – soft and doughy." Wording like this sounds too much like the wording of an advert for Auntie Anne's. SecretName101 (talk) 01:49, 11 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Section written in first person?

[edit]

I'm not sure how this hasn't been talked about in all the edits to the page since 31st July, but user Crunchydillpickle added the section on Franchising which is written in first person out of nowhere, as if it's quoting some source. Really, a large quantity of content on this page is lacking sources/citations. Syntaxpenblade (talk) 15:42, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Merging "Beginning of Auntie Anne's" paragraph into the "Career" section + changes some wording

[edit]

I notice there was a lot of weird wording in the career section, turn out somebody decided to copy and paste the biography in to the wikipage without changing any of the wording. I also felt like the two subject in the "Marriage and Early Business Venture" section doesn't fit together because:

  1. They are both separate thing
  2. "Early Business Venture" is leaning more toward "Career"

So I separate them out and merge it into the "Career" section. I also change most of the wording and added citation. This is my first time making such an edit so please take a look and give some feedback :) Dv 123123 (talk) 06:45, 7 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
