I am not an expert of androgenesis, but a casual reading of this article reveals important issues (which I won't have the time to correct). Several of the cited references don't pertain to androgenesis. Some are cases of sex reversal (in chickens for instance), other are cases of clonal reproduction without gametes (the aspen example which is referred to as "Pando" as if it was a scientific name). Some mechanisms of androgenesis are described without giving any concrete example (the only reference being a review paper on the topic).
