Q1: Why was my edit reverted?

A1: Your edit was likely reverted by another editor for failing to adhere to Wikipedia's standards of quality as it applies to biographies of living persons. Edits that are not encyclopedic, neutral in phrasing, or constructive are subject to removal (see: WP:PILLARS).

Q2: Andrew Tate goes by xe/xim pronouns. Why doesn't the article use them?

A2: Per MOS:GENDERID, articles use the pronouns found in the most recent reliable sources. While self-identification is usually sufficient for pronouns per WP:ABOUTSELF, there is serious doubt among editors that Andrew Tate's claims to prefer xe/xim or she/her pronouns are genuine. The self-identifcation is thus an exceptional claim and not, on its own, a reliable source. As of yet, no independent source refers to Tate using xe/xim or she/her pronouns.

Q3: Why isn't Andrew Tate's conversion to Islam mentioned in the article?

A3: Andrew Tate's conversion to Islam is mentioned in the article under § Personal life. The "stance" parameter in the infobox does not refer to Tate's religious stance; rather, it refers to his boxing stance during his time as a kickboxer. He fought with an orthodox stance.

Tate's citizenship of the UK/USA doesn't seem to be in question. Why is it not covered in the lede info box? The Guardian citation in the Personal section says he also has alleged citizenship of Vanuatu, yet the Personal section doesn't include "alleged" which seems to go against what Wikipedia stands for? Partly done. I changed some wording to say that it was "reported" that Tate received Vanuatu citizenship through the economic investment, instead of "revealed" which implied that it certainly happened. The infobox has this little note for the citizenship parameter: "Country of legal citizenship. Rarely needed. Should only be used if citizenship cannot be inferred from the birthplace." I suppose we could say "United States, United Kingdom" and source this article if needed. But his Vanuatu citizenship does seem to be disputed which makes it harder to include (does it need a "disputed" note, for instance?). 〜 Askarion ✉ 15:53, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

The last sentence of Personal life reports on potentially revoking Tate's Vanuatu citizenship.

This changed on 5 June 2025, with The Guardian report, stating that his citizen status will in effect remain intact.

I can't see any further reliable reports in the last year, indicating that his third citizenship is currently under threat. It does appear however that visa free travel to the EU for all Vanuatu citizens has been rescinded.
