Which century does this mean to refer to? "more scientific assumptions that were coming to dominate social initiatives in the early part of this century"-Daeron (talk) 02:33, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

Logo Change

I have uploaded and changed the logo per this request by Ronald Sexton who says they are a representative of the company. The logo is indeed the one used on their web site and other web presence so I saw no reason not to do as requested. Jbh^Talk 20:33, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

Name change of the organization

The organization changed its name to the Andrew Carnegie Foundation on June 9, 2026, to honor its founder and to provide clarity about its philanthropic mission and the scope of its work. The foundation is a nonprofit grantmaking organization, not a corporation, and it disburses funds both nationally and internationally, not just in New York. Carnegie made the announcement on the foundation's 115th anniversary. Two sources of this change are a New York Times article: After Decades of Confusion, a Name Change by James Barron and in the Chronicle of Philanthropy: Carnegie Name Change Brings Andrew Carnegie Back Into the Spotlight by Alex Daniels. infobox text correction + new logo image

The text in the infobox still reads: "The headquarters of Carnegie Corporation at 437 Madison Avenue in Manhattan" should read: "The headquarters of the Andrew Carnegie Foundation at 437 Madison Avenue in Manhattan" Also, the image of the old logo is still in the infobox.
