I am the director of The Price of Excellence (2025), a short documentary in which U.S. Congresswoman Alma Adams participated and co-presented at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference. I am disclosing this conflict of interest per WP:COI before making an edit to this article.
I have added a sentence after the NORML rating entry in the political career section noting Adams's participation in the film and her co-presentation at the CBCF ALC on September 25, 2025. Citations are drawn from The Grio (September 10, 2025) and Black Enterprise (September 12, 2025), both independent press sources that name Adams explicitly.
I am not adding biographical information about myself beyond my director credit, which appears in the cited sources. This is not a paid edit. If any editor prefers to make or modify the edit on my behalf after review, I welcome that.
