• - The article is new enough and it is long enough - it easily surpasses the requirement of prose length. The image selected is checked and has the correct share alike 4.0 license to be featured on the main page. The article is fully sourced too in all the relevant areas. The hook fact is explained in the "artistry section" and is an interesting enough choice. The hook fact checks out to both sources 4 and 6. No copyright vio worries since Earwig tool confirms a very low 16.0% similarity. QPQ was completed. This nomination is good to go.Rain the 1 21:33, 5 March 2025 (UTC)

Article Main Image Inquiry

The main image, uploaded by AndrewGarfieldIsTheBestSpiderMan, and taken by me, had the quality updated by Ravenpuff. I want to know from the community if the image is fine as it is, if the original quality was better, or if we should choose another picture. I attended Rose's release party for her EP, "For Your Validation" in Los Angeles on 9 February, so I have a lot of pictures of her that can be used. The reason AndrewGarfieldIsTheBestSpiderMan uploaded it is because I didn't know how to, but I took the picture. Thoughts? Santi20374 (talk) 16:33, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

@Santi20374: I edited the image to improve the contrast and saturation (the original looked very washed out), and to crop it to a better aspect ratio. If you have a more "formal-looking" photo of Rose – perhaps with her looking towards the camera, or with fewer people behind her – that would be preferable. We can always crop images after they're uploaded, so no need to worry about the aspect ratio. Thanks!

(On a different note, @AndrewGarfieldIsTheBestSpiderMan: for avoidance of doubt, it would be ideal to note down the actual photographer at the Commons file description, because it currently says that you're the author of the photo.) — RAVENPVFF · talk · 00:09, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for your reply! The image I had uploaded was actually a picture of Alessi at Sziget Festival, but I mistakenly labelled it ‘Glastonbury’, which is possibly why it was deleted. I’ve uploaded it again but with the correct details - Alessi saw my screenshot of the picture last night and requested to keep that one, so if the image below could be uploaded in place of the current image, it would be most appreciated. Thank you!

No, I’m not - the photograph does not belong to me, it was taken by Alessi’s photographer Sophie Scott. It was uploaded to Alessi’s Instagram on the 14th of August 2025. Is it okay to upload the screenshot or does that violate anything I’m unaware of? Alessicentral (talk) 08:14, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

I’m so sorry, I’ve just realised I selected the option that the photo belongs to me by mistake. Hopefully this photo is okay, all of the correct information is there now, including Sophie Scott’s ownership rights.

They need to release the image under a CC BY-SA license, for example by uploading it to their account with the comment "I release this image under a CC BY-SA license". You can't release her images.--Launchballer 08:26, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
