What happen to the information on the sequel series "The Next Step Beyond"? I swear there was some. If someone has made modifications they should at least discuss it and provide a means of retrival if others diasagree. The article probably should include a mention of the "Stars Over Hollywood" episode "MIDNIGHT" which sometimes gets treated as a ONE STEP BEYOND episode...but is from the earlier series and is not part of OSB. It is not mentioned in the Muir book. The episode is included in the 70-story DVD release as the very last entry -- but by all accounts it is not an episode of OSB and there is no real evidence that it was broadcast as an episode. It *may* have been shown in its altered form (i.e. OSB opening but obvious non-OSB credits/closing and music) by some local station. Sources claim that the air date given was for a week when OSB was pre-empted by a news show. The good news is that the MIDNIGHT episode is not in the list of OSB episodes either. Episode 97

As most people agree, there are at least 97 episodes of One Step Beyond, two having almost the exact same names. WB2 (talk) 03:04, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

This topic is confusing regarding the number of episodes. In the sidebar at the top, it says that the show had 97 episodes. However, in the section on Actors Who Appear and on Episodes, it states that there were 96 episodes. The episode list on TV.com (see link in the Wiki article) lists 97 episodes with air dates, with 3 seasons of 22, 39, and 36 episodes. I suspect that the difference depends on whether you count the two-part episode, "The Peter Hurkos Story" (Season 2, Episodes 30-31), as one episode or two. Just watched this on liketv.com and the storyline was nothing like that described on this Wiki entry. Rather it dealt with a painter who is haunted by a vision he can not explain. --King ravana (talk) 03:49, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Not sure which episode you watched, I can't see any with that in the synopsis, but checking that episode on the dvd it matches the description in the article here.Number36 (talk) 06:34, 20 December 2014 (UTC)

season 1 epsisode listing pointless and redundant

Public Domain status and explanation missing

It's said by other sources that this series (or most of it?) is in the public domain, and this article alludes to that fact a few times, but this article doesn't actually say why.
