[edit]The citation given for darker varieties of hollyhock doing better in sandy soils, lighter in clay is this one: "Observation of dark red and "apple blossom" pale pink side by side in Birmingham and Christchurch, Dorset."
I don't think this is a proper citation, so I'll remove this and put in a citation needed tag. Martijn Faassen (talk) 09:59, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
