Iberian invasion of CappadociaAlan invasion of Cappadocia (135) – The current title contradicts the primary source. Cassius Dio (69.15) explicitly states the war was stirred up "from the Alans" (ἐξ Ἀλανῶν... ἐκινήθη). The Alans are the active force that devastated Cappadocia, Armenia, Media, and Albania. Pharasmanes of Iberia is mentioned only as an instigator, not as the invading army. The proposed title reflects the actual belligerent and follows WP:COMMONNAME. Alan invasion of Cappadocia (135)Alan raids of 135 – The raid was not directed only against Cappadocia and it mostly occured in Albania and Atropatene. Similarily to Hunnic raid of 395, this article should be named Alan raids of 135. Rutdam (talk) 18:15, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Support, the name is very misleading, however i think "Alan raids of 135" would be more fitting, since this article covers more than one raids while Hunnic raid of 395 talks about a single raid done by the Huns. Ch3rk.essk0 (talk) 19:28, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
That's fine as well. Rutdam (talk) 13:11, 20 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
