There are inherently likely to be lots of Latin Alphabet transliterations of any Arabic name - the trouble with listing these is that the list is liable to become longer and longer, with little purpose. --Soundofmusicals (talk) 23:25, 22 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Aladdin is the Arabized version of the Iranian (Avestan) Daena. Meaning 'religion'.

Din was adopted into the Arabic language from the word Daena. Please do the right thing and include this in an Etymology section.
