Request to remove unsupported birth-year category (COI)

Hello,

I work for Dubai Islamic Bank within the Group CEO Office and therefore have a paid conflict of interest regarding this article. In accordance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidance, I am requesting this change rather than editing the article directly.

I would appreciate an independent editor reviewing one issue concerning this biography.

The article is currently categorised under "1996 births". However, the article itself does not cite any reliable source for Dr. Adnan Chilwan's date or year of birth, and the category appears to be unsupported.

As this is a biography of a living person, I kindly request that the "1996 births" category be removed unless a reliable published source supporting it can be provided.

Request to review updated biography draft (paid COI)

Hello,

I am an employee of Dubai Islamic Bank and work within its Group CEO Office. For this request, my employer and client are both Dubai Islamic Bank, and my affiliation is the Group CEO Office. I therefore have a paid and professional conflict of interest concerning this article and am requesting review by an independent editor rather than editing the live article directly.

The current article is substantially outdated. I have prepared a proposed updated draft at:

I request that an independent editor review the draft and implement the appropriate changes, either as a full replacement or section by section.

The proposed draft:

• updates the lead and career history through July 2026;
• removes the unsupported “1996 births” category, without proposing another birth year in the absence of a reliable published source;
• updates the subject’s current board positions;
• adds major developments during his tenure, including the acquisition and integration of Noor Bank and DIB’s entries into the Indonesian and Turkish markets;
• updates the recognition section with more recent coverage and rankings; and
• removes outdated operational statistics and unsupported or unnecessary claims.

The proposed wording and supporting citations are included in the draft. Independent sources such as Reuters, The National, Gulf News, The Banker, The Asian Banker and Forbes Middle East have been prioritised. Official corporate and regulatory sources are used mainly to verify current positions and straightforward employment information.

I welcome any neutral rewriting, shortening, partial implementation or removal of material that independent editors consider necessary under Wikipedia’s sourcing, neutrality and biography policies.
