Revisions to article

[edit]

This page needs to be updated to: - provide an overview of the three factor model: biological, environmental and psychological. These factors combined with repeated drug use lead to addiction. -The biological factors are much broader than just genes (although they are of interest). - The interaction between the factors also needs to be highlighted as they do not work in isolation. - these factors can also decrease the likelyhood that dpendence will develop

I have asked my students from the MSc in Addiction Studies (VCU/KCL/Univ of Adelaide) to help update the content. [ Dr. Femke Buisman-Pijlman - Senior lecturer Addiction Studies; 18 nov 2016]

Hi, I will be revising this article for a class project in a couple of weeks. Please let me know if you have any concerns. Nmoallem (talk) 22:17, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
