Again River
[edit]The river is prominently displayed in Google Maps as the "Shoalt's River" and "Shoalt's Again River". However this is incorrect for a couple reasons:
- Anyone can potentially modify place names on Google Maps by submitting a request to Google Map editors.
- His name is "Shoalts", the name "Shoalt's River" was clearly done by someone without much knowledge.
- There is a law in Canada that lakes and rivers can not be named for living people. (Most lakes in Canada have no name, nor need one, there are millions left behind by the ice sheet)
Without sufficient reliable sources ie. not Google Maps, the name was and is Again River — GreenC 04:10, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
