made minor edits: - it is not possible to study for an MA at Oxford, to my knowledge (it is awarded post-graduation); - I believe the common appellation for doctoral graduates at U of York is PhD, not DPhil, as at some ancient universities; - I have never heard of a post-doctoral thesis (in the sense of being a material compilation of work, as I think was meant in the statement)- have altered to 'PD scholar'; - Altered to refer consistently to subject by surname, per MoS. Scientist?

[edit]

"Adam John Hart-Davis (born 4 July 1943) is an English scientist". What justifies that claim? 31.49.9.198 (talk) 19:38, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

He has a PhD in organometallic chemistry. 31.111.112.123 (talk) 22:13, 11 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
...but has never worked as a scientist. I have a degree in fine art and yet I am not an artist. 78.33.184.223 (talk) 05:12, 12 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@78.33.184.223 he did a post doc placement in Alberta, which would qualify him as a scientist, i.e. someone who does science. ~2025-38020-06 (talk) 21:39, 28 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
