UK Quote
[edit]Hi. I think the quote from the Cabinet Office in the UK section would benefit from editing, but I'm not sure of the best resolution. I'm new to Wikipedia so thought it better to ask, there might be a straightforward answer and I'm happy to learn. :)
Currently the quote refers to "The King", but also uses "her" pronouns. Originally the quote referred to "The Queen" (Special:Diff/1256108735), which makes sense as the quote is from 2006 during the reign of Elizabeth II, and looks to have been updated to reflect the reign of Charles III. I have no doubt the edit was made in good faith, but should the quote be updated to use "his" pronouns to match the use of "The King", or should "The Queen" be restored per the original quote? Or, maybe it should be altered to use something like "The [Monarch]" and "[their]", as a way of referring to the reigning monarch, or a note should be given? Djg46 (talk) 11:38, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
