Monotypic taxa

Hey MolecularPilot, I was just looking at the taxonomy for this species on LPSN and it looks like it's monotypic right up the chain till phylum Abditibacteriota. Usually, per the naming convention recommendation for monotypic fauna, the article would be moved to the genus rank, and the species and higher taxa would be made redirects to the genus article. I can do the moving and fiddling necessary, but didn't want to clomp all over your new thing without asking, especially if you're going to nominate it for DYK. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 22:15, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
