This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (Mr Dignan, a published author, is the head of a significant company, subject of a noteworthy recent takeover/merger which generated citable references. @Gioleganni:, I've declined the speedy since him being president of two notable companies does make a reasonable assertion of notability. The sources also help show this assertion as well, so it's reasonable enough to suspect that there may be more sources out there.
