Fan-page like prose, lack of sources.
[edit]I love A Witness, but this page was infested with fanzine style NPOV stuff such as they were at the "forefront of of a wave of Beefheart influenced bands" (made with no reference to a external source) and other marginally purple, non-encyclopaedic prose, "...replaced on the drum stool...", "...the band were shattered by...", and speculation.
A huge amount of unsourced claims and statements are also included. In know this is sensitive for some people given the tragedy around Rick Aitkin's death, so I haven't gone hog wild with "Citation Needed"s or widespread deletions, but these do need to be properly sourced, while sections from the post breakup section onwards are sourced with nothing other than a link to the bands supposed facebook page (and the links don't take you anywhere useful). I'll look for sources where I can but a lot of the information here is purely apocryphal, (and apologies but "I was there" or "I heard if from [bandmember]" and Facebook aren't suitable sources) so a good deal of this might need to be trimmed.
