I would be very interested in finding recordings where this instrument was used. I suspect, for example, that it is used by Pat Metheny on First Circle - mainly because I used to have one and that is exactly how I remember the sound it made. There was a definite delay as it worked out the note, and this is very distinctive. It affected your technique, and it was quite funny when you went back to straight playing - you were 'early'!

Can any one suggest where it can be heard on commercial recordings?

Woops, I've just been told Pat Metheny uses a Roland GR300. So there goes that theory.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.86.37.79 (talkcontribs) 14:05, 28 January 2007

Michael Hampton is credited as using an Avatar on the George Clinton album "You Shouldn't-Nuf Bit Fish". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.180.182.107 (talk) 21:36, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'd be very happy to add this information, except I can't find a reliable source. The only source I have is the motherpage which is self published I believe (correct me if I'm wrong). Discogs lists credit for "Guitar", but not for the Avatar. --Muhandes (talk) 07:19, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
