It didn't take long for some pranksters to have some fun, with some edits seemingly made to Styles' Wikipedia page to reflect the outcome of the brawl. Naturally, everything is back to normal now, but for a short while his bio appeared to list 4 April as the day he died.

Things got even more confusing once Styles and co-host Tony Giles started looking deeper into the information listed online. That's when Styles noticed Wikipedia claimed he once wrestled under the name "Jason Styles."

Has it been confirmed he has retired? Yes, his WWE career is (probably) over, but it seems a bit premature to say he's retired when he could still turn up in other promotions. ~2026-26513-6 (talk) 16:40, 1 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Just because he has retired does not mean his contract with WWE has ended. His extension is up this month, per Fightful Select, however he is still technically signed to WWE right now. We should reflect this in the lead, no? Lilpippybars (talk) 03:43, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
