Split out of ABC Entertains

[edit]

Hi, I've been bold and split ABC Me into its own article as per this discussion on ABC Entertains from over a year ago. Please see that discussion for the reasons why this split makes sense. Marcostev8 (talk) 19:32, 13 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

ABC3 or ABC Me

[edit]

I'm not 100% sure on what the policy surrounding names for TV channels like this should be, given that the channel has now shut down, I think that it should be listed as ABC3, its original launch name. The channel was known under both names for a similar amount of time (it was ABC3 for about 7 years, ABC Me for about 8 years) so I can understand why some people think it should stay as ABC Me. Discuss, I guess.

Personally I think the channel had 2 distinct eras: 1. ABC3/Me and 2. ABC Entertains. ABC Me was just a rebranding of ABC3 - same target audience, the programming was basically the same, some hosts remained, etc. On the other hand, ABC Entertains isn't just a rebranding but a complete shift in programming and target audience, away from primary school children. With that logic, I believe ABC Me should remain the title because it was the evolution of ABC3 until its shutdown. Marcostev8 (talk) 23:58, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
