Friendship Before Adams-Friendship Consolidation

Friendship High School was merged with Adams High School in 1929 to create the new Adams-Friendship High School (https://www.newspapers.com/image/243474965/?match=1&terms=%22adams-friendship%20high%20school%22), it appears that Friendship's nickname may have been the Gladiators (https://adamshistory.com/?page_id=1364), though the quotes make me wonder a bit (note that Oxford was called the Olympians). I saw that as well. Adams appeared to be a 2 year school, and thus why they would not have joined the 7-C.
