What is the name of ...

I was hoping to find some clue about the filming technology applied to produce slow motion, high definiton images where the camera perspective changes freely around one object. I assume this footage is created by utilizing multiple synchronized cameras surrounding the object and then digitally filtering out the images of the cameras themselves to create the impression of one "virtual" camera. __meco 16:04, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
