Rating and improvements

I have just completed the assessment of this article for the Military History project and believe it to be a Start class article. I believe that it could be improved in the following ways:

• Referencing: use of in-line citations, and the addition of more sources;
• Coverage: the article could be expanded to discuss the topic in more depth, namely discussing the major operations that the unit was involved in, providing details such as casualties, any decorations/honours and awards, notable incidents etc;
• Structure: the article could be improved by creating a clearer structure by making a lead or introductory section that summarises the entire article, followed by a number of sections of prose. Some suggested sections might be: Introduction, Formation, History (including operations, notable incidents, battles, etc), Commanding Officers, Casualties, Honours/Awards, Notes (for in line citations), References (full bibliographic details of cited works), See also (internal wiki links), External links.

WW I

The regiment was apparently reactivated just before WW I. See Albert H. Blanding, who commanded it during the attack on Pancho Villa. Student7 (talk) 16:24, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

Hawk Reference

There is a few incomplete citations that mention a book by Hawk? I did a cursory look but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what book this might be referencing? Amscheip (talk) 23:15, 13 March 2023 (UTC)

Apparently you edited it away last year. It read "Hawk, Robert. Florida's Army: Militia/State Troops/National Guard 1565-1985. Englewood, FL: Pineapple Press Inc. 1986". ...GELongstreet (talk) 00:44, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
