I've always seen Gary Whittaker's Torana, which continued to appear in ATCC round for another year or so, as an LH L34 rather than as an LX A9X. --Falcadore (talk) 02:41, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've based my classification of the model on the published information that I have available. The Official Programme says Torana SLR, the Official Racing History of Holden simply says Torana, the results panel in Australian Motor Racing Yearbook says Torana SLR and the text of the race report in Australian Motor Racing Yearbook says Torana A9X. From that I concluded that the best verifiable desciption was Holden Torana SL/R 5000 A9X. GTHO (talk) 00:09, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
