[edit]I have made some year layout proposals which would affect this page: the year in topic paragraph would be replaced with a see also box.

I am a bit tempted to link these pages to some other archive pages on 1851 like 1851 Punch Cartoons but I guess I should see what other people think first
1851 UK census
[edit]According to Irish potato famine, there was an 1851 census in Canada too (see under Emigration), so was the UK census actually a UK and dominion census? EvocativeIntrigue TALK | EMAIL 19:32, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Massive vandalism
[edit]In December 2008, an anon user 140.203.12.240 entered a massive amount of fake info into this page, some of which has been in place over 18 months. It is now removed. Green Cardamom (talk) 15:22, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
