- Provided for the first time, direct Radio Ground to Air RECON support during "The Battle of The Ardennes" (aka: The Battle of the Bulge) between both Father and Son: The 28th. Infantry Division Commander, Major General Norman Cota Sr. and 356th. fighter squardron leader, Lt. Col. Norman Cota Jr.
