- Support. One step at a time. The previous RM might be summarised thus: the year is at the basename; should it remain so? The consensus was that it should not, and that the year should be at AD 1000. This new RM might be summarised thus: should 1000 be a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT to AD 1000, or should it be a DAB page? Between those two options only, IMO the answer is clear: the year, best known as one in which several people were approximately born, is not WP:PTOPIC, and 1000 should be a DAB page.
- The question of whether or not the number should be at the basename is a separate one. I have an opinion on that, but I am not going to argue it here because it would muddy the discussion. One step at a time! If the consensus of this RM is that 1000 should be a DAB page rather than a redirect, only then might the question of whether or not the number is PTOPIC be raised. - Support. The year is certainly not a primary topic, so the proposal is an improvement, regardless of whether another topic is primary. As for further moves, it seems marginal whether the number is primary. When we're in doubt, readers will be too, so the disambiguation page should occupy the base name.
