Rochest.er
[edit]One thing I find interesting is one of the references is to the list of "about 70" domains registered under this ccTLD. This appears to be a list of the domains for purchase, but they include some of the domains in a screenshot of the text file of said domains. The spot test I tried, none of them worked, BUT, after all the second level domains (com, net, org) is 'rochest.er'. This means that, if this list is accurate, someone once got a domain under the country code, and used it as a domain hack for Rochester, New York. Hilarious. The country could make so much on registration fees if they let people register .er domains. --TIB (talk) 08:51, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
