Vaikuntha Vasan (born 29 June 2000), better known by his stage name as TTF Vasan is an Indian YouTuber, actor and Motorcycle racer from Tamil Nadu, India. He is known for his YouTube vlogs and playing the lead role in the film Indian Penal Law (2025).[1] Vasan is known for his extensive controversies and allegations.[2]

Life and career

[edit]

Vasan hails from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in India from a middle class working family.[3]

He started the YouTube channel in 2017. Vasan started uploading blogs relating to racing and his journey around India on his Motocycle and showcasing various type of stunts to viewers.[4][5]

In 2024, Vasan was initially supposed to make his debut in the film Manjal Veeran which was directed by Chellam. However, due to some reasons he was replaced from the film by actor Cool Suresh.[6][7] The replacement sparked rage with Vasan and he sued Chellam due to not informing him about the replacement.[8][9]

In 2025, he made his debut in the film Indian Penal Law as an actor which was directed by Karunanithi.[10]

In 2026, Vasan participated in the reality show Bigg Boss season 10 as a wildcard housemate.[11]

Controversy and arrest

[edit]

In 2022, The police said in a conference that Vasan was booked under Section 279 (rash driving) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 184 (dangerous driving) of the Motor Vehicles Act. Officials at the D3 Podanur police station said Vasan had gone on a ride with popular influencer G P Muthu on the Palakkad Road, Coimbatore on September 14 2022, and drove his motorcycle at a very high speed causing a threat to people.[12][13]

In 2023, Vasan was booked in for Rash Driving by Tamil Nadu Police after he was thrown off his bike while attempting to perform a wheelie on a service road in National Highway 48 on 17th September 2023.[14][15] Vasan was arrested by police after the incident and spent 40 days in jail.[16] However, on 1 November 2023 the court awarded bail for Vasan to be released.[17][18] The court also announced that his moto bike license would be suspended for 10 years following the incident.[19][20] That year, he was also held in custody by police for driving a car vehicle without a registered number plate. The car belonged to Vasan's cousin and he was fined a total of Rs 5,500 and sent off.[21][22]

In 2024, Vasan and his friends went to Tirupati and visited the Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala. In his Youtube video, Vasan was mocking the devotee who stood and waited in the normal waiting line instead of a VIP entry. The temple authorities later condemned his action and filled a report for bullying.[23]

That same year, Vasan was once again arrested by police in Madurai for reckless driving and once again released on bail by police.[24][25][26]

In December of 2024, the Indian Forest Service reportedly took Vasan under custody due to illegally buying a pet snake in Coimbatore and letting it roam publicly in the area which is a hazard.[27]

Personal life

[edit]

In May 2024, Vasan confirmed his relationship with television actress Shaalin Zoya.[28] However, the couple later split up due to differences.[29]
