Sarona Motlhagodi (17 May 1993 – 5 March 2021), known professionally as Sasa Klaas, was a Motswana rapper, singer, songwriter, and television presenter.
Early life and education
[edit]Motlhagodi was born in Gaborone, Botswana. She attended Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, where she studied film and television production before pursuing music professionally.[1]
Career

[edit]She gained recognition through collaborations with local artists, including Scar, before releasing solo material such as HADSAN.
Her work addressed themes including female empowerment and gender-based violence.[2]
Television
[edit]She worked as a presenter on Botswana-based television programming and later co-hosted a programme on DStv in South Africa.[3]
Death
[edit]She died on 5 March 2021 from injuries sustained in a helicopter crash in Botswana.[2]
