Samir Abi Rashed

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Samir Abi Rashed (in Arabic سمير ابي راشد), born in Beirut in 1947,[1] was a Lebanese painter.[2] His work is representative[3] of the influence of surrealism on middle eastern painters and expresses, with a careful and almost "photographic"[4] technical execution, an erotic unconscious world of dreams and symbols.[5][6][7] The artist passed away on November 29, 2021.
