The following code adds the user name with the corresponding password to the column families (pycassa.ColumnFamily) USER and USERNAME:[2]

useruuid = str(uuid())
columns = {"id": useruuid, "username": username, "password": password}
USER.insert(useruuid, columns)
USERNAME.insert(username, {"id": useruuid})
