Pablo Garrido

Pablo Garrido Lugo (22 June 1938 – 28 July 2026) was a Mexican athlete who competed in the late 1960s.

Biography

Pablo Garrido Lugo was born in Jilotepec de Abasolo, State of Mexico, on 22 June 1938.

He finished 26th in the men's marathon at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. Garrido also took the Olympic Oath at those same games.^[1]

Garrido finished fourth in the 1968 Boston Marathon^[2] and second in the 1969 Boston Marathon.^[3]

Pablo Garrido died on 28 July 2026, at the age of 88.^[4]
