Moses Elias Almendo Madjar (born 14 April 2005) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a left-back or centre-back for Championship club PSBS Biak.[1]
Club career

[edit]Madjar spent his youth career developing with the Papuan youth side Waanal Brothers, showcasing versatility across various defensive structures before attracting attention from major regional teams.[2]

[edit]He was then promoted to Waanal Brothers first team and made his professional debut on 20 December 2024 in a match against Persiba Balikpapan, which ended in a 2–1 victory for Waanal Brothers in the 2024–25 Liga Nusantara.[3][4]
PSBS Biak
[edit]Madjar signed a contract with PSBS Biak on 31 July 2025 ahead of the 2025–26 Super League campaign.[5] He made his Super League debut for Badai Pasifik on 31 October 2025, coming on as a starter in a 3–1 lose over Persija Jakarta at the Manahan Stadium.[6] He established himself as an active option within the defensive unit, breaking into the first-team rotation and recording 700 minutes on the pitch across the domestic season.[2] He completed 11 official league appearances over the course of the top-flight campaign, including a full 90-minute defensive shift during the final fixtures against Bhayangkara Presisi.[2][5]
Following the conclusion of the season, PSBS Biak suffered relegation to the Championship and was concurrently handed a strict transfer registration ban by FIFA due to licensing and internal disputes.[7] Prevented from onboarding any new external additions, the team relied heavily on its existing home-grown core. Madjar was retained in the primary roster alongside veteran captain Patrias Rumere to lead the backline for the 2026–27 season.[8]
Personal life
[edit]Madjar comes from a notable sporting family in Papua. He is the twin brother of fellow professional footballer Markus Madjar, who plays as a defender for regional rivals Persipura Jayapura.[9]
